Hanna and Michael know the power of dance to be a joyful, interactive healing practice to explore together. Pittsburgh, March 2024
Michael processes his parents' passing by dancing their first meeting at their boarding high school in Lenox, MA, 60 years later, based on stories he remembers his mother telling him as a child. In dancing with these memories, he investigates and integrates his recent ancestors with his own playfulness and gratitude, sorrow, and joy.
In this clip from August, 2022, Michael works with memory and playing with friends and various feelings through speaking and dancing at the office of the family business.
