Ritual and

Ceremony

Ritual, Ceremony and Dance Shaman practice can take many forms...

During a visit together in Pittsburgh's Polish Hill, three friends discover a spontaneous contact healing trio in March 2024.

Healing Circle of chants and dance at Rancho Yesod,

La Paz, BCS. MX October 12, 2023

What about the Earth/nature allows you to connect to your spirituality and healing? Rivers, lakes, oceans? Mountains, earth, stones? Forest trees, jungle vines and flowers? Sky, mist, breeze? Fire, hot springs? Animals?

Sometimes play and dance can become healing ritual for the participants, as in this video of three friends improvising together in nature.  Can you feel how the mix of freedom and structure allows for the healing state to happen?

Michael adds Jewish traditional and contemporary blessings to a wedding

Plymouth, Massachusetts, Oct 14, 2022

I am a shaman/healer using a mix of traditional, artistic, embodied, intuitive and holistic processes to help you free and nurture your own creative, kinesthetic/somatic wisdom.  We explore together any personal, familial, romantic, or professional inquiry you want to make.

I have studied for 10 years with Purepecha shaman Francisco Nahualyaoltyollot from Guadalajara, MX and for 6 years with healer Wahida Gul (Perla Salas-Cruz) from CDMX and La Paz, BCS.   I have also been working in magical partnership support for 4 years with Lisa Bruno of Santa Barbara, CA, USA. I completed the Somatic Trauma Resolution training with Health Wave Instiute in 2013. I also call on my studies and practice of Judaism.

Michael, 4-5 years old, in Lake George, NY

Michael dances with one of his artist d/ancestors, Marta Minujin, Jewish artist, considered to be the Argentinian "Andy Warhol."

Perhaps you would like to dance with one of your d/ancestors, living or dead... what might become possible for you if you bring in their energy and creativity to support you?

Group Retreats

Return to Your Origins Retreat, hosted at Rancho Yesod by Perla Salas-Cruz and myself, was a healing retreat with local participants from our state, Baja California Sur, (though originally from  a wide variety of states in Mexico)! It was reasonably priced to be accessible to anyone who was interested.  The retreat was about 44 hours, from Friday afternoon to Sunday early afternoon, with delicious vegetarian meals cooked by Iram.
